About Chris
Chris Seto-Payne has been practising acupuncture in Brisbane since 1995. He is an Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registered health practitioner and member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA).
Chris’ approach is both holistic and tailored, treating underlying imbalances while also assisting with the current presenting symptoms. He does this using a combination of acupuncture, moxa, cupping, massage, herbs and lifestyle suggestions to get the best possible results for his clients.
Although Chris has treated hundreds of patients with a wide range of health concerns and injuries since 1995, he particularly enjoys helping people with musculoskeletal aches and pains.
Since 1986, Chris has also practised the art of aikido (a Japanese martial art). He has been teaching aikido since 1992 and is the head instructor for a dojo based in Newstead. These many years cultivating mind-body awareness help to bring an attentive and mindful focus to his treatments.
Outside the treatment room, Chris is a devoted grandfather, a keen guitarist, an avid football fan and a top-notch cook who loves to bake sourdough bread.
Chris is available for appointments on Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday.
Chris is a provider for all major health funds.
